Kraftwerk to play Cardiff Castle in June 2027 as tickets go on sale

Kraftwerk will bring their audiovisual live show to Cardiff Castle on Wednesday 23 June 2027, with tickets available through DEPOT Live.

Gates will open at 5pm for the outdoor concert, which is being presented by DEPOT Live and Cuffe & Taylor. According to We Rave You, Cardiff is one of only two UK dates the German group have confirmed for summer 2027 so far.

General ticket sales began at 10am on Friday 23 October, following a Live Nation presale on Thursday 22 October.

One of two confirmed UK shows

The Cardiff concert follows a performance at The Piece Hall in Halifax on Tuesday 22 June. That date forms part of the Live at The Piece Hall series, with doors opening at 6pm and tickets sold through Live Nation.

DEPOT Live founder Nick Saunders said: “Kraftwerk really are true pioneers of electronic music so we are thrilled to be welcoming them to Cardiff Castle.”

Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider formed Kraftwerk in Düsseldorf in 1970. The group received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014 and entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. Hütter now leads their touring audiovisual show.

The castle’s 2027 programme also features Sonny Fodera on Friday 4 June, Jack Savoretti and James Morrison on Thursday 24 June, and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators on Wednesday 30 June.

For the Kraftwerk date, Cardiff ticket purchases are through DEPOT Live ahead of the concert on Wednesday 23 June 2027.
