Texas to play Cardiff on White On Blonde 30th anniversary tour
Texas will bring their 2027 UK and European tour to Cardiff as White On Blonde turns 30, with an anniversary release and a new single.
Texas will play Cardiff as part of a 2027 UK and European tour marking three decades of White On Blonde, according to It’s On Cardiff.
The band’s fourth album reaches its 30th anniversary on Friday 5 February 2027. Originally released in February 1997, it went straight to No. 1, produced five Top 10 singles and has been certified six-times platinum in the UK.
The anniversary release will include Another Way To Cry, a new song drawing on the band’s love of Northern Soul, with brass and strings.
Reflecting on recording White On Blonde, Spiteri said: “We were in Glasgow, we made the album in my house and I did all the vocals in the coat cupboard.”
The tour also includes a show at The O2 in London on Wednesday 27 October 2027.
